Hi! I am so happy and grateful you are here! I am assuming your a health lover like me if your here, and if not I hope to convert you! I am so excited to finally start my blog. It only took me like 4 years! I could give you endless excuses as to why I haven’t done this until now, but to be honest it likely all boils down to fear. Fear of failing, fear that no-one will read it, i really don’t know exactly what I was afraid of but I’m in a place now where I’m letting that go and taking steps forward! And honestly, who cares if no-one read it, I’m sharing my knowledge to try and make this crazy world a better place and if all it does is allow me to vent, so be it!
I will be sharing my insights and ideas on holistic nutrition, fitness and wellness. I have gained a ton of knowledge over the past 10 years+ and want to share it with you! Nutrition and movement are both such critical parts of my life and I want to help others embrace a lifestyle where those aspects are important too!
Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Lindsey, I am a small town girl raised in rural Newfoundland who through all my life travels discovered my passion for holistic health. I currently reside in PEI (my family and I just moved here from Ontario) and I am the owner of New Leaf Holistic Health which is a holistic personal training, nutrition and wellness business.
I am a kinesiology graduate from Memorial University of Newfoundland, and also obtained my diploma in natural nutrition from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in London, ON. I absolutely LOVE helping others become empowered to take charge of their own health and make changes to better their quality of life. I offer nutritional and lifestyle coaching, customized training programs, group training, and fascial stretch therapy services.
Food and movement are medicine, I truly believe this and use these medicines in my daily life to feel my best. ! Our bodies are incredible and amazing however they can only handle so much, especially when we are not treating it right. If you don’t feel good there is always an underlying root cause, you just have to find it! Remember, your body is the only place you have to live in, take care of it!!
My main objective it to share as much information as I can so more people will be informed of how eating whole foods, daily movement/stretching, and a positive outlook can completely change your health. It doesn’t happen overnight, and there will be bad and good days, but the idea is to keep striving to be the best version of you! AND if you need help don’t be afraid to ask!
